Cinco de Mayo Menu
Cinco de Mayo is a special day for me. It was my maternal grandfather’s birthday (my favorite being ever). It also makes me think about my paternal grandfather, Papa Romero and his lineage. He died when I was 18 and wasn’t into cooking yet. I wish I could learn Mexican dishes his mother made. I love taking family recipes and making them plant-based.
